Inspired by the story of Chazz Palminteri and his play, "The Bronx Tale" as a teenager, Ken's venture into theater started with the High School of Commerce drama club. His first role was as Cheever in "The Crucible". During this time, he was auditioned and was selected as a cast member for the Northampton Team Players Drama Group. He co-wrote the teen drama, "Hey, Wake Up!" This production toured throughout Massachusetts and appeared on a segment of the PBS show, "The State We're In". This story highlighted social issues of gang violence, teen pregnancy, and drug addiction.

After attending intermediate acting classes at the Springfield's Drama Studio to hone his skills as an artist, ken secured supporting roles for Jalupa theater productions of "Before it Hits Home", "The Colored Museum", "Flying West" and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" with the Henry County Players group out of McDonough, Georgia.

Ken's first short screenplay, "Sinister Choices" won third prize at the 2008 Atlanta Urban Media Makers Film Festival.

Ken had a minor role in Sean Ireland's independent film, "Sway". In 2017, his narrative story for the Valley Voices Story Slam was selected as an official entry and one of three selected to be included on the New England Public Media website. You can listen to it here!
His web series, "Cyber Brats", appeared on the former Spondulics TV Braodcast Network from 2020 to 2022. Ken's first short film, "That Gone Darn Scam", a film he wrote and performed all the characters in, won the 2021 Audience Choice Award at the F-5 Financial Focus Filmfest in Orlando Florida. The following year, Ken won first prize at the Holyoke Entreprenurial for All Pitch Contest.

In 2023, Cellar Door Productions and Springfield Mass Studios teamed up to film his screenplay, "A Mind Made for Murder". The film premiered at April 2024 at the Tower Theater in South Hadley, MA. Through Ken's artistic endeavors, he has received cultural council city grants from Springfield, West Springfield, Agawam, Chicopee, and Everett.
